The Schoolhouse Hotel, Dublin 4
This 320 sq ft mural at The Schoolhouse Hotel in Dublin 4 was designed to reflect the beauty of its surroundings while staying true to the hotel’s branding and heritage.
Set within a listed building, the mural uses the shape of original windows to frame realistic, hand-painted views of the Grand Canal just outside. The brickwork was carefully painted to mirror the hotel’s historic exterior, creating the illusion of the wall breaking open to reveal the canal and its local wildlife.
Twelve animals—all spotted during the project—are hidden throughout the piece, offering guests a unique and engaging experience.
